The Client
After a successful run at The Strip District's Smallman Galley, Jacqueline Schoedel opened The Speckled Egg in Downtown Pittsburgh. Boasting breakfast all day and delicious cocktails, they enjoyed a packed dining room and a busy bar at their location inside the Union Trust Building.
The Task
Jacqueline asked me to design new menus for her restaurant.
The Problem
Like others in the industry, The Speckled Egg was forced to shut down amid the Coronavirus pandemic. We wanted to engage customers and encourage them to order more items while keeping them and the staff safe after reopening.
The Solution
A structurally satisfying, and visual menu that highlights best-selling items and those that are sometimes forgotten or overlooked. I included custom artwork on each menu to capture customers' attention and visually engage their appetite for the menu offerings.
